TalkTalk customers offered Fibrus deal after it enters administration

Cumbrian TalkTalk customers caught up in the firm’s financial woes have been thrown a lifeline by broadband provider Fibrus.

TallkTalk is in administration and yesterday, BT signalled its intention to acquire TalkTalk and its 1.5m retail customers.

Now Fibrus has responded with an announcement of a time-limited offer to all eligible TalkTalk customers, giving them the choice to join Fibrus rather than BT.

CEO of Fibrus Dominic Kearns

Dominic Kearns, CEO of Fibrus said, “We understand this is an unsettling time for TalkTalk customers, especially as they chose not to be BT customers because they had a choice.

“This choice is now at risk from being removed with the announcement BT intends to acquire the struggling TalkTalk business.

“Fibrus was formed to provide that choice for consumers.

“A choice which includes fairer pricing and a better service.

“That’s our offer to current TalkTalk customers.

“Avoid the corporate loop back to BT and join Fibrus today for just £14.99.”

For TalkTalk customers still in contract, Fibrus is offering up to £400 towards any early termination fees they might incur due to their current broadband contract.
