The Fours League took another step towards its final rounds on Friday, July 24, with leaders Workington A taking a 6-1 home win against Cockermouth side Harris Park.
Second placed Whitehaven A reduced the gap with a 7-0 win at Seaton while Fitz Park host Maryport.
Bottom side Vulcan Park lost 7-0 at Cleator Moor and Workington B won 7-0 to win the B team battle with Whitehaven.
Whitehaven A and Fitz Park played their rearranged fixture on Monday, July 27, with the home team taking the fixture 5-2 to increase the gap to points between the two sides.
July’s fixtures come to an end on Friday 31, as Workington A travel to Whitehaven A while Fitz Park head to Workington B.
Fourth placed Cleator Moor make the trip to Cockermouth to face Harris Park as Maryport host Whitehaven B and Vulcan Park play Seaton.

Harris Park A held on to top spot with a 7-2 victory at Vulcan Park A on Tuesday, July 21, as Whitehaven A matched the result at home to Seaton while Workington B 8-1 win at Egremont moved them two points off top.
Maryport are up to fourth after a 6-3 win at Harris Park B while Workington A 8-1 win against Whitehaven B take them to fifth.
Wigton and Croft occupy ninth and tenth after the Cockermouth side won 5-4 while Cleator Moor are eighth with a 7-2 win over Vulcan Park B.
