Cumbria Police executed a warrant in West Cumbria that has lead to an arrest being made.

On Friday, July 17, Copeland Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), alongside Cumbria Police’s Tactical Support Group executed a section 23 drugs warrant at a property in Whitehaven resulted in a man being arrested for possession with intent to supply a controlled substance.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: “This warrant forms part of ongoing work by local officers to target criminality, disrupt offending and keep communities safe.

“We would continue to encourage anyone with concerns about crime or anti-social behaviour in their area to report it to us.
