Eden Valley Bowls League: Caldbeck and Dalston sit top of the leagues

Dalston and Caldbeck hold top spot across the four divisions in the Eden Valley Bowls Leagues.

Eden Valley Mixed Triples

The top two both lost on Tuesday, June 30, as leaders Caldbeck went down 6-4 at Lazonby as second placed Linton lost 6-4 at Fitz Park.

While Penrith Friars B kept the pressure on them with an 8-2 win at Temple Sowerby and Wetheral won 8-2 at home to Fitz Park A.

The three are all at home on Tuesday, July 7, as Caldbeck host Fitz Park B, Linton face Wetheral and Penrith Friars B play Lazonby while Fitz Park A host Temple Sowerby in a bottom two battle.

All games are a 2:00pm (14:00) start.

Leaders Dalston picked up a big 10-0 win at home to Appleby B on Tuesday, June 30, as Appleby A fell 9 points behind after an 8-2 win at home to Penrith Castle Park.

While Penrith Friars A were 8-2 victors at home to Shap.

As the division heads into its final run in Penrith Castle Park host Dalston on Tuesday, July 7, as Appleby A travel to Shap and Appleby B welcome Penrith Friars A.

Leaders Caldbeck kept their unbeaten run going with a 6-2 win at Temple Sowerby on Thursday, July 2, as Fitz Park A won 6-2 at home to Appleby.

Fifth placed Lazonby beat Fitz Park B 6-2 while Penrith Castle Park moved above Shap with a 6-2 home win.

Caldbeck host Penrith Castle Park on Thursday, July 9, as Fitz Park A head to Shap while Penrith Friars face Lazonby and Fitz Park B welcome Temple Sowerby.
