Cleator Moor Town Deal is inviting local residents to have their say on the future of the Connected Cleator Moor project.
The event is being held at the Cleator Moor Civic Hall on Tuesday, July 14, between 4pm (16:00) and 7pm (19:00), to view the latest plans and speak to the project team.
A spokesperson for the Town Deal said: “We’ve recently appointed WSP to develop the detailed designs, which aim to better connect Cleator Moor to employment, education and healthcare opportunities beyond the town, while enhancing its character as a vibrant and forward-looking place to live, work and visit.
“As part of the proposals, several locations across the town have been identified for potential investment, helping to make it easier and safer for people to travel around the town and connect to wider destinations.
“Your feedback will help shape the final designs, so do come along and get involved.”
The Connected Town project is part of four projects that include Healthy Town, Enterprising Town and Revitalised Town.
