Eden Valley Bowls League: Linton take over at the top of Mixed Triples

Linton have taken over the top of the Mixed Triples League as Caldbeck and Appleby continue to hold top spot in the other Eden Valley Bowls Leagues.

Eden Valley Mixed Triples

In Division One on Tuesday, June 9, Second placed Linton moved top of the table despite a 6-4 defeat at Temple Sowerby.

Penrith Friars B moved joint third with a 7-3 loss at Wetheral while Lazonby beat Fitz Park B 6-4 to become the third side in third place.

Caldbeck game at Fitz Park A was abandoned.

Caldbeck will be looking to reclaim top spot on Tuesday, June 16, as they welcome Linton as Fitz Park A travel to Penrith Friars B while Lazonby welcome Wetheral.

Bottom club Temple Sowerby head to Fitz Park B.

In Division Two Appleby A hold on to top spot by a point as they lost 8-2 at home to second placed Dalston.

In the Penrith derby Penrith Castle Park beat Penrith Friars A 6-4 as both held their positions in the league while Shap won 6-4 against Appleby B.

On Tuesday 16, Appleby A and B face each other as Dalston host Penrith Friars A and Penrith Castle Park host Shap.

In the Mixed Rinks Caldbeck are 10 points clear after a 7-1 victory at Fitz Park B on Thursday, June 11.

Penrith Friars beat Shap 8-0 to move up to second as Fitz Park A also win 8-0 at Temple Sowerby and Lazonby game with Appleby was postponed.

The top two meet on Thursday, June 18, as Caldbeck welcome Penrith Friars while Fitz Park A will want to reclaim second as they host Penrith Castle Park.

Fourth placed Shap host Lazonby as fifth placed Appleby play Temple Sowerby.
