Witnesses sought to A6 crash as 17 year-old remains in a serious condition

Cumbria Police is continuing to appeal for witnesses as part of an investigation into a crash on the A6 that has left a 17 year-old in a serious condition.

The crash on Friday, May 1, near Milestone House, north of Penrith involved a white Audi and a pedestrian at around 10pm (22:00).

Police would like to hear from those driving between Penrith and Stoneybeck roundabout between 9:30pm (21:30) and 10pm (22:00) on May 1, that may have seen the pedestrian or have any dashcam footage.

Emergency services attended including an air ambulance.

The pedestrian, a 17-year-old was transported to hospital where he remains in hospital in a serious condition.

The driver of the Audi stopped at the scene of the crash and engaged with police.
