Andrea Buggy Women’s League: Newlaithes Ladies Return To The Top Of The Table

Newliathes Ladies have returned to the top of the Andrea Buggy Women’s League as Workington Diamonds move into third.

In one of the two games played on Wednesday, June 5, Newlaithes recorded a 0-1 win over Stanwix Hornets with Kerri Mallinson scoring the only goal of the game.

Workington Diamonds moved into third place with an 8-1 win over second bottom Penrith AFC.

Leaders Newlaithes can extend their advantage at the top of the table when they welcome Xtreme Fitness on Wednesday, June 12, as Workington Diamonds look to claim second as they face Carlisle United Ladies.

Allerdale Wildcats head to Penrith AFC while Vickerstown Ladies host Abbeytown Ladies as the pair both chase places in the top three.

All matches are a 7:15pm (19:15) kickoff.
