Colt 45 ready to feel a ‘home audience’ with first West Cumbrian gig ahead of album release

Colt 45 make their first West Cumbrian performance since the final Boof Festival.

The Carlisle-based band are returning to the west coast for a performance at The Yellow Earl, in Whitehaven on Friday, February 9.

Speaking to The Herdwick News the band’s drummer Adam Lewis said the lads are ‘really looking forward’ to the show and promised new music from their first album in five years.

He said: “It always feels like a home audience every time we play in Cumbria, particularly in the west.

“We’ve known the gang at Yellow Earl for many years and always have a blast at their events.”

Later this year the band will be releasing their first new album in five years – meaning this Whitehaven show will be the first time some of these songs live.

To reassure lifelong fans Adam promised they would be including plenty of their classic songs in the set list.
