It is something all young cricketers dream of heading off on tour with their county.
Two teams, one boys and one girls, will get to live the dream when they head to the South Asian island of Sri Lanka in 2024.
Cumbria Cricket said: “We are thrilled to announce that for the first time ever, Cumbria Cricket will have 2 representative teams touring in another country.”

The 11 day tour will take in the South Asian island with two squads of under 18s embarking on what promises to be a “life-changing experience for all involved.”
With this announcement Cumbria Cricket is looking to the Cumbrian community to help make the tour a success and allow all to participate in the experience.
Cumbria Cricket said: “There are several ways in which individuals and businesses can help, including sponsorships, advertising, and donating gifts for a raffle or auction at the tour dinner.
“Any support would be greatly appreciated and can make a significant difference in the success of this historic tour.”
