Carlisle Skills Fair Will Have More Employers And Training Providers Than Before Says Carlisle MP

Plans for the 9th Carlisle Skills Fair are now well underway.

The Skills Fair will be held on Thursday January 26, 2-6.30pm at Carlisle College.

Commenting John said: “I am always grateful to local businesses and organisations for the huge amount of support for the Carlisle Skills Fair.

“Our 2023 skills fair will see more employers and training providers attending than ever before and it’s still not too late to sign up for a place.

“Businesses can book a place by contacting office@johnstevensonmp.co.uk.

“For young people, and those looking to return to work or change careers this is the place to have informal conversations with local experts who can give good quality advice and guidance on the employment and training options available in the Carlisle area, now and in the future.”

Sponsors of the annual event include Center Parcs, the award winning family breaks and holiday centre based in 400 acres of the stunning Whinfell Forest at Penrith, the Cumberland Building Society, one of the region’s most familiar and trusted businesses based in Carlisle, and Persimmon, one of the UK’s largest housebuilders.

Over 50 businesses and organisations have already signed up to attend including our supporters, Inspira, Carlisle College, Carlisle City Council, Cumbria County Council, The Edge, Job Centre Plus Carlisle, Lakes College, University of Cumbria, ICAEW and Gen 2, JTL, PHX, JTL and Systems People training providers.
