Three people have been arrested as part of an investigation into a fail to stop collision.
The incident which occurred at around 4:24pm yesterday, Friday August 19 on Carlisle Road, Brampton involved a Sky-Blue Audi and a pedestrian.
Cumbria Police, Ambulance and HeliMed attended the scene and the road was closed will an investigation took place and the Police are still appealing for witnesses.
Three local males have been arrested in connection to the incident.
The 19-year-old male pedestrian, remains in hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
