Plot Twists As National Conference League Heads Towards End Of Season

Twists and turns in National Conference League as teams head into the final rounds.

In the Premier Division Siddal beat Thornhill Trojans 42-20 on Friday August 12 before the other teams took to the field on Saturday August 13.

The six play off places have been decided after Leigh Miners Rangers were beat 18-0 at Hunslet Club Parkside, who can not finish lower than third.

Lock Lane need to win their final two games and hope Hunslet Club Parkside lose one of theirs to finish second after a 22-26 win over Pilkington Recs, who themselves need to win their last games to confirm their Premier Division status.

Another of the top six that will be happy are Wath Brow Hornets after a 24-12 over League Leaders West Hull.

Already relegated Egremont Rangers kept Rochdale Mayfield looking over their shoulders after a 34-26 win in a late starting game due to travel issues.

York Acorn continue their push for safety with a 34-24 win over fifth placed Thatto Heath Crusaders to leave them one point behind Pilkington Recs and Rochdale Mayfield.

The title battle in Division One took another twist as Kells were beaten 34-12 at West Bowling and Hull Dockers squeezed a 10-12 win at Myton Warriors.

Ince Bridge Rose move into third with a 6-48 win at Milford as Wigan St Patricks dropped points as they lost 24-28 to Skirlaugh.

The battle for sixth continues as Oulton Raiders beat Saddleworth Rangers 52-12 to stay ahead of Stanningley who picked up a 78-0 win over Featherstone Lions.

Division Two the play off places are still up for grabs.

At the top League Winners Heworth beat Barrow Island 58-12 as Crosfields beat Hunslet Warriors 12-34 to move back into second ahead of Barrow Island.

Normanton Knights 30-24 win over Clock Face Miners confirmed their place in the play offs and making Clock Face Miners wait.

Woolston Rovers stay above Dewsbury Celtic after they both won with Rovers beating Bentley 12-42 and Celtic beating Wigan St Judes 32-18.

At the bottom Bradford Dudley Hill were relegated with a 40-18 defeat at Dewsbury Moor Maroons.

Waterhead Warriors 16-24 victory over Shaw Cross Sharks keeps East Leeds waiting to be crowned Division Three winners after they beat Oldham St Annes 29-10 to stay four points ahead of Waterhead Warriors.

Seaton Rangers missed the chance to move into third with a 22-14 defeat at Bentley after Oldham St Annes lost but stay four points ahead of Shaw Cross Sharks.

Millom beat Drighlington 30-26 in the mid table battle while at the bottom Eastmoor Dragons picked up their second win of the season with a 15-23 win at Batley Boys as Hensingham lost to 4-18 to Leigh East.
