Two Titles Decided In The National Conference League

In the National Conference League teams continued their March towards the end of the season.

In the Premier Division West Hull beat second placed Hunslet Club Parkside 16-8 to go seven points clear with three games left and win the League.

Lock Lane moved into third with a 98-4 win over Egremont Rangers that regelated the visitors, Wath Brow Hornets beat fellow playoff side Thatto Heath Crusaders 32-25 while sixth placed Siddal picked up a 8-38 away win at Leigh Miners Rangers.

In a relegation four pointer Thornhill Trojans gave themselves a fighting chance with a 20-10 win over fellow relegation candidate York Acorn while Pilkington Recs picked up a 20-30 win over Rochdale Mayfield.

The Division One title looks like it could go down to the final game after Kells picked up a 50-0 win over relegated Milford and Hull Dockers close 24-22 win over Stanningley as the pair sit joint top with Kells leading on points difference.

In the battle for the playoffs Wigan St Patricks 12-46 win over relegated Saddleworth Rangers kept them ahead of Ince Bridge Rose who beat West Bowling 22-12.

Oulton Raiders currently sit in sixth place after a 18-6 win over the final relegated team Myton Warriors while Skirlaugh sit two points back in eighth after a 26-16 win over Featherstone Lions.

Heworth will be playing in Division One after wrapping up the Division Two title with a 12-48 victory away Wigan St Judes.

Barrow Island moved back into second and the other promotion place with a 24-12 win over Dewsbury Moor Maroons and sent a congratulatory Tweet to Heworth, their next opponent.

In the playoff fight Woolston Rovers in sixth put three points between them and Dewsbury Celtic with a 26-22 win over Normanton Knights.

At the bottom Bradford Dudley Hill will need to win all three of their remaining games and hope those above lose theirs after a 10-6 win over fellow relegation candidates Beverley.

In Division Three East Leeds will be playing in Division Two and Waterhead Warriors are not far behind them as the pair fight for the title over the last three games.

East Leeds keep a four point gap at the top with a 20-38 win away at Drighlington while Waterhead Warriors beat Batley Boys 15-23.

Oldham St Annes stay joint third ahead of Seaton Rangers after a 44-6 win over Hensingham while Rangers beat Shaw Cross Sharks 16-18.

At the bottom Eastmoor Dragons will be one of the two occupying the re-election places after a 24-32 defeat to Bentley.e

In a mid table game Leigh East beat Millom 22-18.
