Cumbria Police are investigating a fatal road traffic collision.

The collision occurred on the A686 near Alston at 4:35pm Saturday July 30 and involved a single motorcyclist.

A 55-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or arrived after and provided first aid.
