Cumbria Constabulary Execute Drugs Warrant Following Community Concerns

Cumbria Constabulary acted on community concerns and arrested a man after carrying out a drugs warrant at a property in Longreins Road, Barrow.

Officers also seized a significant amount of cannabis, suspected drugs paraphernalia and an extendable baton following the warrant, carried out at 8.20am on May 4.

The arrested man, 22, of Barrow, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was later released under investigation.

The warrant was executed by uniformed response officers and Tactical Support Group officers.

Police continue to appeal for any information on suspected drugs offences.
