Miles Kane And Black Grape To Headline The Boof Festival 2022

By Robert Haile

Miles Kane, Black Grape, Glasvegas, and Little Man Tate, are all set to headline the Boof festival as it makes its return for 2022.

After the success of it’s 2021 sell-out return – following a six-year and COVID hiatus – the West Cumbrian festival is coming back this summer to Copeland Stadium, it was announced today, Thursday April 14.

Organisers have said bringing the event back has taken ‘a lot of hard work’ but is going to be worth it when the festival comes over the weekend of August 19 and 20.

Liz Cannon, one of the organisers and co-owners of the Whitehaven music venue The Yellow Earl, said: “It took a lot of hard work but gonna [sic] be worth it.

“We are so excited now, really looking forward to welcoming Little Man Tate back for one of their first festival appearances.”

Also performing as part of the events ‘biggest line up yet’ are Reytons, Shambolics, Pastel, and Bad Nerves – the latter who made their post-pandemic festival debut at the Boof Festival in 2021.

Several Cumbrian acts will be performing over the weekend including; The Northern Threads, The Scumbrians, Danny Dunnery, Springfield, and Zoe Warren.

On the 4 Play dance stage Phil Bridges, Grant Benthwaite, Squizza, Dave Tunstall, and Si Kennedy will all perform.

Tickets for the Boof Festival go on sale tomorrow, Friday April 15, at 9am – with prices starting at £30.
