Cumbria Police Make Arrest In Connection With Silloth Assault

Cumbria Police has arrested a man in connection with an assault in Silloth.

Emergency services were contacted around 10:30am on the May 28 to a report of an assault in the area of Pennine Close, Silloth.

A 29-year-old man from Liverpool was air lifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle with injuries that were believed to be serious, however, he was discharged shortly after.

A 19-year-old man from Silloth has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

He has since been released on police bail.
