The rankings are based on apprentice reviews and employer performance.

They look at things such as programme completion rates, the number of apprenticeship opportunities available, diversity and inclusion, and feedback from apprentices.

The result reflects Sellafield and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority’s long-term investment in early careers and skills.

It also recognises the role their apprentices play in supporting the UK’s nuclear sector and the nation’s long-term economic growth.

The ranking follows a strong year for Sellafield’s early careers programmes.

Sellafield was recognised in all 3 HIGHERiN employer rankings:

  • 2nd in the Top Apprenticeship Employers ranking
  • 50th in the Top Graduate Employers ranking
  • 87th in the Top Undergraduate Employers ranking

The results show the range of opportunities available at Sellafield, from apprenticeships through to graduate programmes.
