Workington have taken over at the top of the Fours League as Harris Park hold onto the lead of the Mixed Triples League.
Cumbria’s Middleton Cup team were in action as the Angels of the North looked to book their place at the National Finals.

Workington A over came a tricky game at Maryport on Friday, June 12, 7-0 to go top of the table.
This could be temporary as now second placed Whitehaven A game with Keswick club Fitz Park was postponed.
In fourth Cleator Moor picked up a 5-2 win at home to Seaton as Workington B continued to slide down the table as Cockermouth club Harris Park won 6-1.
While the battle of the bottom two left Vulcan Park at the foot as Whitehaven B won 7-0.
The season hits the halfway mark on Friday, June 19.
Leaders Workington A make a short trip to Vulcan Park while Whitehaven A head to Cleator Moor.
Third placed Fitz Park host Seaton as Harris Park head to Whitehaven B and Workington B welcome Maryport.

West Cumbria Mixed Triples League
The league returns to the fore on Tuesday, June 9, as leaders Harris Park A beat Vulcan Park B 9-0 as Workington B moved up to second with a 9-0 victory over Harris Park B.
Whitehaven A are now joint third after a 7-2 win at Workington side Vulcan Park A while Whitehaven B lost 7-2 at home to Maryport.
Cockermouth side Croft made it two in two over Egremont with a 5-4 win while Seascale lost 5-4 to Seaton.
Played on Wednesday, June 10, Cleator Moor lost 7-2 at home to Workington A.
Cockermouth side Harris Park A host Wigton on Tuesday, June 16, as they look to maintain top spot in the league.

Cumbria County Teams
Cumbria were involved in county action as the race to the National Finals continue.
On Saturday, June 13, Wigton welcomed Durham as they took on Cumbria’s men in the Middleton Cup.
The 24 players from clubs such as Aspatria, Carlisle Subscription, Silloth, Wigton Park, Whitehaven and Workington took on Durham across six rinks of four players.
The Cumbrian team won four of the six to take an 18-4 (121-96) win.
Cumbria will be at home against Northumberland in July before trips to Yorkshire and Lancashire to see who makes it to the National Finals.
On Sunday, June 14, in the Amy Rose Bowl a combined team from Cumbria, Northumberland and Yorkshire playing under the Angels of the North took on Derbyshire, Durham, Lancashire and Lincolnshire.
The five young women took on Derbyshire in their first game with Wigton’s Molly Haney winning the pairs with Kacee Sultmaw as Abbey Morton, Libby Hancock and Amica Fordy won the triples to win 6-0 (27-23).
In the other game Durham beat Lancashire 4-2 (23-20).
In the second game against Durham the Angels won the triples (19-8) but lost the pairs (4-13), the overall shots came into play with the Angels taking a 4-2 (23-21) win.
With Lincolnshire beating Derbyshire 6-0 (27-25) the Angels were top of the group.
The wheels came off in the third game as Lincolnshire won both games to take a 6-0 (12-25) win as Derbyshire did the same to Lancashire with a 38-11 overall.
In the Angels final game they ran out 6-0 (33-15) winners over Lancashire to sit top of the group with 16 points.
In the game between Durham and Lincolnshire, Durham took a 4-2 (27-17) win as the pair had one game to play.
Lancashire, who had yet to win a match, beat Lincolnshire 5-1 (28-19) but sadly for the Angels Derbyshire were well beaten by Durham who won 6-0 but with a 33-9 overall shots to book their place at the National Finals.
