A Great North Air Ambulance paramedic shortlisted for national award.
Hollie, who joined the Great North Air Ambulance service in 2022, has been shortlisted for Critical Care Practitioner of the Year at the Air Ambulances UK Awards of Excellence.

A spokesperson for the Great North Air Ambulance service said: “Huge congratulations to our amazing paramedic Hollie.
“We’re incredibly proud to share that Hollie has been shortlisted for Critical Care Practitioner of the Year at the Air Ambulances UK Awards of Excellence.
“Her professionalism, empathy, kind nature and clinical skills are evident in her work and she is highly dedicated to continuously improving the care provided to our patients.
“From helping to deliver pre-hospital training courses to carrying out a range of innovative research projects, and even completing the Great North Run, she consistently goes above and beyond in her role to make a difference.
“We’re so lucky to have her on our team and wish her and the rest of the nominees the best of luck.”
When Hollie joined the life saving charity in 2022 she was the youngest female paramedic to join the charity at the age of 28.
