Julie Minns the MP for Carlisle is to hold a community meeting with Stagecoach to hear residents’ views.
The meeting on Saturday, July 12, will be an opportunity for residents to raise questions directly with Tom Waterhouse, Managing Director for Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire, about the issues that matter most to them, from bus timetables and reliability, to accessibility and service coverage.

Since her election, residents have regularly been in touch about issues with their local bus services.
Julie Minns MP said: “I have heard from many residents about their concerns with local bus services who rely on them to get to work and to attend appointments.
“This meeting is a chance for local people to speak directly to Stagecoach and Cumberland Council about what is working and what urgently needs to change.
“I hope as many people as possible can attend and have their voices heard.”
Alongside Stagecoach, Denise Rollo, Executive Member for Sustainable, Resilient and Connected Places for Cumberland Council will also be in attendance to speak about the work they are doing.
The meeting will take place from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in Carlisle and the venue will be shared with those who have their place confirmed.
This will be the first in a new ‘Community Matters’ event series launched by Julie Minns MP, designed to bring local residents together with organisations and service providers to discuss issues that matter most to them.
