Just one week to go until the Eurovision celebrations commence, an evening of Eurovision classics with host Mel Giedroyc has been announced with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
Eurovision Classics: Douze Points takes place at the iconic Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Friday, May 9.
Mel Giedroyc, former host of The Great British Bake Off alongside comedic partner Sue Perkins, was the UK co-commentator at the Eurovision Song Contest final in Liverpool in 2023, where she stole the show with her unforgettable cameo as a butter-churning milkmaid.

Now, she’s back to front a spectacular celebration of Eurovision’s greatest hits – this time with the full force of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
Mel Giedroyc: “Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool was a career highlight and I’m thrilled to be coming back for Douze Points: Eurovision Classics this May at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
“The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra is tremendously talented and I can’t wait to see how they interpret the classics”.
It’s the perfect way to get in the mood ahead of the final.
The prestigious Orchestra and a group of talented vocalists will bring audiences symphonic versions of iconic Eurovision songs, including Waterloo, Boom Bang-a-Bang, Rise Like a Phoenix, Stefania, and many more.
