Hospice at Home West Cumbria Is Asking You To Don Christmas Jumpers To Raise Vital Funds

Hospice at Home West Cumbria are asking businesses, schools, and community groups across West Cumbria to don their Christmas jumpers to support their vital palliative and end-of-life services.

Participants will receive a free fundraising pack when they sign up, which is full of ideas to help supporters raise as much as possible while also adding some festive fun to the day through quizzes, games, and decorations.

Schools will also receive a prize to give out to their best dressed pupil.

Holly Harkness, Community Fundraising Co-ordinator at Hospice at Home West Cumbria, said: “Christmas Jumper Day is an important part of our fundraising calendar, and we love seeing all our supporters in their Christmas knits – the crazier the better.

“We are looking forward to holding our own Christmas Jumper Day at our Therapy and Information Centre in Workington and would love for you to join in the fun at work, home, school, or a community group, raising money for your local hospice charity.”

Anyone can join in the festive fun and taking part is easy, simply contact the Hospice at Home West Cumbria fundraising team on: 01900 873173 or email: info@hhwc.org.uk to let them know about your Christmas Jumper Day and register for your free fundraising pack.

Every year the hospice needs to raise over £1.4 million to deliver its vital services free of charge to the community.
