Cumbria Police are appealing for information as a driver is left with ‘serious injuries‘.

The a road traffic collision which occurred at 8pm on Saturday, May 13, on the A595 at Whitehaven is being investigated.

The collision involved a white Suzuki Celerio and a silver Volkswagen Tiguan. 

The driver of the Suzuki was taken to hospital with serious injuries and he remains in hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Cumbria Police are appealing for any witnesses or dashcam footage of either vehicle or incident to contact them.
