Early pace setters Xtreme Fitness Ladies are top of the Andrea Buggy Women’s League after winning three out of three.

The league leaders sent Abbeytown Ladies away with a 1-0 defeat as Captain Claire Blackburn scored the only goal of the game on Wednesday May 3.

In second Whitehaven AFC Blue are two points behind after a 2-0 win over Newlaithes while Whitehaven AFC Yellow are joint third after a 1-3 victory at Stanwix Junior Bees.

Vickerstown got their first points on the board with a 2-0 win over Workington Diamonds.

Allerdale Wildcats might have no points but they are certainly winning the pregame team photo.

In a 11 goal thriller the Wildcats went down 7-4 to Carlisle United Ladies Development.

This weeks round on Wednesday May 10 has the Whitehaven AFC teams facing off, Abbeytown host Carlisle United, Newlaithes welcome Xtreme, Penrith AFC Rubies are back in action against Vickerstown and Workington Diamonds face Stanwix.

All matches are a slightly later kickoff of 7:15pm (19:15).
