The National Conference Rugby League Returns After Easter

The National Conference Leagues returns after a break over Easter weekend with five teams taking unbeaten records into this weekends round.

West Hull have picked up where they left off last season in the Premier Division as they made it four wins from four with a 12-14 win at Wath Brow Hornets on Saturday April 1.

Kells moved into third with an 18-10 win against York Acorn as fellow promoted side Hull Dockers came away with a 34-41 victory against Leigh Miners Rangers and Thatto Heath Crusaders beat Siddal 26-18.

In the only game on Saturday April 8 Hunslet ARLFC moved to the top of the table with a 12-44 win at Lock Lane to match West Hull’s 100 percent start.

Hunslet ARLFC and West Hull are both at home on Saturday April 15 when they face Wigan St Patricks and Leigh Miners Rangers.

Cumbria’s duo face difficult games as third placed Kells travel to sixth placed Rochdale Mayfield as fourth placed Wath Brow Hornets head to fifth placed Siddal.

Further down the table Lock Lane will look to leap York Acorn when they face each other and Hull Dockers hope to do the same when they host Thatto Heath Crusaders who sit above them on points difference.

Table toppers West Bowling are sitting unbeaten at the top of Division One after dispatching Oulton Raiders 48-4 to start April with a bang.

Heworth have found their feet with a third win in a row this time a 62-6 win over Clock Face Miners to move up to second while Thornhill Trojans are still pointless after Pilkington Recs 22-16 lifted them to fourth.

In a back a forth game Crosfields sent Egremont Rangers home with a 30-22 defeat and Ince Rose Bridge condemned Featherstone Lions to their fourth defeat with a 12-20 win.

The only Division One game over Easter Pilkington Recs lost 14-20 to Ince Rose Bridge on Thursday April 6.

Unbeaten West Bowling head to Egremont Rangers on April 15 with Cumbrian continuing their 11 home games – 11 live acts with Luke Matear.

The group of teams in second will break up as second placed Heworth host Crosfields, third placed Oulton Raiders take on fourth placed Pilkington Recs, sixth placed Ince Rose Bridge travel to fifth placed Skirlaugh and seventh placed Clock Face Miners welcome Featherstone Lions.

Thornhill Trojans will look to get off the mark against Stanningley.

In Division Two two sides sit with 100 percent records as Waterhead Warriors sit top after a 0-56 win at East Leeds as the former Division Three sides faced each other as Woolston Rovers sit second after a 28-20 win against Myton Warriors.

Dewsbury Moor Maroons occupy third after a tight 18-20 win at Milford while Barrow Island take fourth after a 22-10 home win over Normanton Knights.

Shaw Cross Sharks move above Saddleworth Rangers in to after a 32-12 win over them and Wigan St Judes are off the mark with a 30-10 victory over Dewsbury Celtic.

On April 15 Waterhead Warriors welcome Shaw Cross Sharks as the two Division Three sides meet for the first time since promotion while Woolston Rovers travel to Dewsbury Moor Maroons.

Barrow Island head to Myton Warriors knowing a good win could move them into second or possibly top, Saddleworth Rangers face Dewsbury Celtic, Milford will be looking for their first points against East Leeds and Normanton Knights host Wigan St Judes.

In Division Three Ellenborough kicked off April with a 56-4 win against Eastmoor Dragons to stay top as Leigh East beat Hensingham 40-6 to go second, Oldham St Annes moved into third with a 12-28 win at Bentley and Millom take fourth after a close 26-24 win against Beverley.

Seaton Rangers got their first points off the season with a 26-20 win over Drighlington.

The joint leaders will be cut from four on April 15 as Oldham St Annes welcome Ellenborough.

Eastmoor Dragons host Leigh East while Millom travel to Drighlington looking to take advantage of the Oldham result.

Hensingham head to Bentley and Seaton Rangers are on the road to Beverley.
