The unpredictability of the North West Women’s Regional Football Leagues continues at both ends of the tables.
The top of the Premier Division has tightened up on March 5 as Fleetwood beat table toppers Curzon Ashton 2-1 but second placed FC United were held to a 2-2 by Cheadle Town.
At the bottom there was distance put between as Blackburn came away with 2-4 win over bottom club Mossley Hills and West Didsbury picked up a 3-1 win over second bottom Darwen.
Mid table Tranmere swapped places with Crewe after they got the better of a five goal thriller 3-2.
The action continues on March 12 as the top two meet as Curzon Ashton host FC United and third placed Salford City face Mossley Hills with the chance to go top.
Fourth placed Cheadle will look to take advantage as they face West Didsbury, Blackburn take on Fleetwood and Darwen welcome Crewe.
All matches kickoff at 2pm (14:00).

In Division One North all twelve sides were in action on March 5 as leaders Haslingden 1-3 win over Bolton Wanderers kept them seven points clear of Blackpool who picked up a 1-0 win over Morecambe.
Accrington are now three points clear in third after a 1-1 draw with Carlisle United after Penrith lost 4-3 to Preston North End.
At the bottom Workington Reds have been pulled back into the mix after a 0-2 defeat to bottom side Sir Tom Finney and second bottom Penwortham Town drew 3-3 with Chorley staying two points behind them.
In what could be the Cumberland Women’s County Cup final Carlisle United and Penrith meet on March 12.
Accrington travel to Chorley, Preston North End host Sir Tom Finney and Penwortham take on Workington Reds.
All fixtures are a 2pm (14:00) kickoff.

In Division One South Runcorn dropped to second on March 5 Chester recorded a 2-0 win while Bury moved joint top with them after a 1-4 win at Warrington Wolves as Poulton Vics 0-3 victory over Northwich leaves them two points behind.
The games between Wythenshawe and Alder and Hindley and Altrincham could not be separated as both matches ended 1-1.
Runcorn have the chance to move clear again at the top on March 12 when they face Poulton Vics who would could top if they win as Bury host Hindley.
Chester travel to Alder, BRNESC face Wythenshawe and Warrington Wolves take on Northwich Vixens.
