Tom Jones Tour Dates 2023 As Cardiff Castle Headliner Announced

Sir Tom Jones is set to headline at Cardiff Castle for the first time in 21 years as new dates are added to his 2023 tour.

The Welsh icon is finally returning to his home country’s capital after confirming a date at Cardiff Castle this summer, as part of his ‘Ages and Stages’ tour.

The 82-year-old will perform live in the castle grounds on Friday, July 21, 2023 – his first time headlining there in over two decades.

The announcement follows his appearance alongside the Stereophonics at two sell-out dates at the Principality Stadium last year.

Nick Saunders, founder of DEPOT Live – the company organising the event – said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be bringing the Voice from Pontypridd back to the Welsh capital this summer; we know it’s something that people have waited a long time for.

“We can’t think of a more perfect setting for Sir Tom than the castle.”

Tom Jones Ages And Stages Tour

The Voice judge is now in his sixth decade rocking in the music industry and recently released his 41st studio album, Surrounded By Time, in April 2021.

His 2023 tour kicks off in the US, at the Hollywood Bowl in LA, before taking him through Europe and finally back to the UK with dates in Margate, Newbury and Essex – alongside his Cardiff date.
