Cumbrian rugby union side continued to build momentum as the league heads towards its conclusion.
The North West Division continued on Saturday, January 14 with a Cumbrian derby as Kendal beat Kirkby Lonsdale 41-0.
At the top of the table Blackburn picked up their first win of 2023 with a 31-14 victory over Macclesfield while Lymm left Burnage with a 14-87 win to stay seven points behind Blackburn.
In a close game Wirral took a 13-5 victory over now fourth placed Rossendale after Sandbach moved above them with a 27-17 win at home to Northwich and Stockport got the better of Manchester with a 36-29 win.
The matches continue on January 21 as Kirkby Lonsdale host Wirral, Kendal head to Lymm as Blackburn make the trip to Manchester.
Macclesfield face Burnage, Northwich take on Stockport and fourth hosts third as Rossendale play Sandbach.

The gap at the top of Regional 2 North is down to one point after the round of matches on January 14.
Table toppers Morpeth came through another close game by a point with a 16-15 win against Middlesbrough as second place Penrith were 22-62 winner away at Stockton.
It was a 12-12 draw between South Shields Westoe and Aspatria and Carlisle lost 24-31 to Percy Park.
The games between Keswick and Northern was postponed and Consett and Durham City was abandoned.
Penrith host Keswick with a chance to go top on January 21 as Morpeth head to Aspatria while Carlisle travel to Middlesbrough.
Durham City face Stockton, Northern take on South Shields Westoe as Percy Park welcome Consett.

The first round of the split Cumbria league took place on January 14.
In the Conference 1matches Upper Eden picked up where they left off with a 66-0 win at home to Millom and Egremont lost another close game 17-19 against Wigton.
The match between Cockermouth and Whitehaven was postponed.
On January 21 Upper Eden host Cockermouth, Millom welcome Wigton and Whitehaven take on Egremont.
In the other half, Conference 2, Hawcoat Park sit top after a 17-5 win at home to Creighton, Silloth are second with a 12-10 victory over Penrith while Workington and St Benedicts were inseparable as they drew 5-5.
The teams are back in action on January 21 as Creighton take on Silloth, St Benedicts face Hawcoat Park and Workington host Penrith II.
