New Leaders In Lancashire FA Women’s County Leagues

It’s all change at the top of the Lancashire FA Women’s County League.

Goals galore in the only match played on Sunday November 20 as Sir Tom Finney were hit for eleven as Whitehaven went back to the top with an 2-11 win.

Three games on November 20 as Whitehaven host Chipping with either side able to go clear at the top, Cadley welcome St Annes and Kendal Town face Sir Tom Finney.

Whitehaven kick off at 1:15pm (13:15) while the other two are a 2pm (14:00) kickoff.

In Division One South/East there was only one game on Sunday 20 as AFC Wigan lost 1-5 to Lostock St Gerards and Bury FC play conceded the match to table toppers Horwich St Mary’s.

Astley Bridge’s match with Penwortham Town was postponed.

A full fixture list is scheduled for November 27 as Clitheroe Wolves host Bury FC, Darwen play Ashley Bridge, top plays second as Horwich St Annes take on Euxton and Penwortham Town welcome AFC Wigan.

All matches are a 2pm (14:00) kickoff.

In the Premier Division there are new leaders after Colne FC beat Accrington Stanley 0-5 on Sunday November 20 and Burnley and Stanwix played out a 1-1 draw.

Darwen FC and Langho will be rearranged after the match was postponed.

Just the two games as Langho host Clitheroe and Colne face Accrington with both matches kicking off at 2pm (14:00).
