Having visited both the North and South Pole, crossed Antarctica on foot and at 65 climb Mount Everest Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE will now take on an evening at Kendal Leisure Centre.
Kendal Mountain Festival are holding the evening on Friday November 18 as Sir Ranulph goes beyond his record-breaking achievements to explore the man behind the myth.

Live on stage, ‘the world’s greatest living explorer’ will share stories from his legendary exploits and adventures, telling untold tales of the world’s most extraordinary feats of daring and exploration.
Taking us from his magical and mischievous childhood, through school misdemeanours, to his time in the military and beyond, Sir Ranulph will also reveal for the first time his own personal heroes and the incredible lessons he learnt from them which have informed his hazardous profession.
Delivered in his own inimitable fashion and accompanied by stunning never-before-seen images and home videos, Sir Ranulph will be introduced and presented on stage by Kenton Cool, the mountaineer who has summited Everest 16 times and guided Sir Ranulph up the Eiger North Face.
We are delighted to be delivering this event at a more accessible price point of £20.
This is one not to miss – a show that guarantees to leave you entertained and inspired to seek out your own life adventures.
