The North West Women’s Regional Leagues returned with a bang across the three divisions.
After Sunday October 30 Cheadle Town Stinger are still a point clear after a 0-5 at Crewe Alexandra, FC United of Manchester’s 1-5 win over Darwen FC keeps them second as Salford City beat Tranmere Rovers 4-2 to remain third.
Curzon Ashton put five past Blackburn Community Sports Club as they won 5-2 and West Didsbury & Chorlton lost 1-2 Fleetwood Town Wrens.
The battle of the athletics between Wigan Athletic and Mossley Hill Athletic was postponed.
Sunday November 6 fixtures feature all the teams with the matches set for a 2pm (14:00) kickoff.
Table toppers Cheadle Town travel to Tranmere Rovers while FC United, who could go top, host Crewe Alexandra.
Third placed Salford City welcome fifth placed Curzon Ashton as fourth placed Fleetwood Wrens travel to Mossley Hill Athletic.
Wigan Athletic will hope for a game after another postponement last week when they face West Didsbury & Chorlton.

In the Division One North four games were played on Sunday October 30 as Morecambe’s game with Haslingden and Penwortham Town’s match with Chorley both were postponed.
With table toppers Haslingden not playing Blackpool had the chance to close the gap but went down to a 2-0 defeat at Accrington Stanley.
Penrith AFC ran out 2-8 winners at Sir Tom Finney with Sarah Jayne bagging five goals for Penrith.
Preston North End’s 1-3 win over Workington Reds moved them up to fifth and Bolton Wanderers drew 1-1 with Carlisle United.
The teams will go again on Sunday November 6 as Haslingden host Sir Ton Finney and Blackpool welcome Workington Reds.
Bolton Wanderers face Chorley while Morecambe play Carlisle United.
FA cup first round side Penrith AFC take on Accrington Stanley as Preston North End travel to Penwortham Town.

In Division One South the top three all won on October 30 as Bury FC won 2-1 at home to Northwich Vixens, BRNESC lost 0-4 to second placed Poulton Vics who stay a point behind Bury FC.
Third placed Runcorn Linnets 6-2 win over Hindley Juniors keeps them four points off top and three points clear of Warrington Wolves.
Alder and Wythenshawe Amateurs moved above Altrincham after Alder’s 1-0 victory over then and Wythenshawe Amateurs 3-2 home win against Chester FC.
Only four matches on Sunday November 6 third placed Runcorn Linnets head to Altrincham as fourth placed Warrington Wolves host Wythenshawe Amateurs.
Seventh versus sixth as Northwich Vixens welcome BRNESC and Chester travel to bottom club Hindley Juniors.
