That is it, the Cumbria Cricket League has come to a thrilling finale.
In the final game second placed Cockermouth needed to win at home to Wigton and despite losing the toss the home side reached 187 with Alex Grainger leading the way with 68.
Sam Sharp then dismissed 7 for 10 runs as Wigton collapsed to 30 all out.
At Keswick the home side batted first making 137 with Ruairdh Baker scoring 30.
With the target set Marc Brown made 68 and Michael Slack 35 laid the groundwork for Ben Davidson and James Dawson to take Carlisle to the Premier Division title.
Fourth played fifth as Furness won the toss and decided to bat with Liam Curwen making 54 and Garry Thompson scored 49 not out as the team reached 176.
Chasing Primosh Perara top scored with 50 as Millom fell short on 155 as Furness’ bowlers all took wickets.
Winning the toss Haverigg decided to bat first at Workington with Drew and Jordan Postlethwaite making 73 as they were bowled out for 206.
The home side got over the line reaching 207 with Jake Daniel making 59.
Home side Cleator won the toss and decided to bat against Dalton with Owen Bell scoring 72 and Kasun Madushanka’s not out 77 taking them to 254 as Dalton used all eleven players in their bowling attack.
In reply Joe Braund Smith made 42 as they were bowled out for 140 as Owen Bell then took 4 wickets for 17 runs.
It all came down to one wicket as Egremont won the toss and put visiting Whitehaven into bat.
Leo Sanczuk top scored for Whitehaven with 33 as they reached 185 from their 50 overs as Stephen Holliday, Josh Foster and Matthew Harrison all made 24.
It then came down to a last wicket stand for Egremont as Jonathon Stewart had taken 6 wickets for 43 including Javon Grosvenor who top scored with 54.
Vickram Balakrishnan and Matthew Lancaster took the side home to 188.
There was one last game in Division Two as Cleator 2nd welcomed Dalton 2nd.
Winning the toss the home side made 154 with Ben Wishart scoring 50 with Hadley Tunstall taking 5 wickets for 14 runs.
Top scorer of the game Callum Leach reached 77 not out as Dalton made 157 to win.
