Cumbria Police were called to a one-vehicle collision at Penton.

The collision took place near Longtown, at 8.45am yesterday, September 17.

The collision involved a grey Volvo XC60. 

The driver of the Volvo, a man in his sixties, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The rural road was closed while a forensic collision investigation was carried out.
