Children in Years 5 and 6, along with their parents, have the opportunity to experience an afternoon at St Bees School as part of a special Taster Afternoon event at the school.
The independent school offers a bespoke fusion curriculum which sees advanced learning in Maths, Chinese as a foreign language and focuses on developing the character of each individual student alongside their studies.
The Taster Afternoon, which is being held on Thursday September 22, gives an inside look into this unique curriculum, and both students and their parents have the opportunity to ask questions directly to Headmaster, Mr Silk, and Ceara Fisher, Head of Admissions.
During the afternoon, students will experience a range of subjects, taught by the experienced, friendly teachers of St Bees School.
Spending the afternoon within the historic school and having the opportunity to talk to current students provides a valuable insight into everyday life at St Bees – for both children and their parents.
Ceara, organiser of the event and Head of Admissions at the school is excited to welcome visitors to the school and give them a glimpse of what St Bees School can offer.
“We have a fantastic offering here at St Bees, and we want to show what we can do to support students both academically and with regards to their character development.
“This hands-on, interactive taster afternoon gives a real insight into day-to-day life at St Bees School as it is held during a real school day.”
“To us, every day is an open day and parents can get in touch to book a tour, but our Taster Afternoon is a true taste of St Bees life and is an opportunity not to be missed.”
With limited places available, it is advised to book a place for you and your child ASAP.
