Three games left in the Cumbria Cricket League after teams got back on track after the wet weather.
No change at the top of the Premier Division but there almost was.
Losing the toss Carlisle were put into bat by Workington and it almost work for the home side as they bowled the league leaders out for 140 with Ben Davidson’s 29 and Fraser Conn’s 28 not out top scoring.
In reply Carlisle’s bowlers all took wickets with Nico Watt taking 4 as they stopped the hosts on 130.
At Cockermouth the home side were put into bat by the visiting Cleator side.
In another low scoring game Cockermouth were bowled out for 123 with Greg Platten scoring 41 not out as David Blackwell finished with 5 wickets for 21 runs.
Cleator were bowled out for 107 with Graeme Lilly scoring 22.
A bit of an upset took place at Wigton as visitors Keswick put the home side into bat and Kieran Little’s 95 and Christopher Hodgson’s 129 took them to 271 from their 50 overs.
Starting well Keswick reaching 184/5 but as the last wicket fell they were all out for 216 with opener Will Atkinson scoring 57.
An 112 from Ryan Griffiths helped Furness to 228 against Egremont after being put into bet by the hosts.
In reply Egremont were bowled out for 75.
Winning the toss Haverigg decided to bat first with Drew Postlethwaite scoring 61 as they were bowled out for 143 by Millom as Primosh Perara took 6 for 35 runs.
Perara then scored 40 has he helped Millom to 144 as all of Haverigg’s bowler took a wicket.
In the battle at the bottom Whitehaven were put into bat and bowled out for 89 with Jack McNicholas scoring 23 not out as Rangika Pinnala Don took 5 for 14 runs for Dalton.
Daltons innings was short with Andrew Cameron and Jonathon Stewart taking 4 wickets each as the visitors were bowled out for 53 as Whitehaven moved off the bottom.
Lindal Moor stay on top in Division One after beating Kirkby in Furness.
Batting first Edward Waind’s 97 and Ryan Gilmour’s 63 set Lindal Moor on the way to 333.
Rob Fugler top scored with 56 for Kirkby as they were bowled out for 121.
Keeping up with Lindal Moor Ulverston won the toss and batted first at home to Seascale.
Going the full 50 overs Ulverston made 218 with Ben Dryden making 80 before bowling Seascale out for 88.
Hawcoat Park set visitors Egremont a big target as they batted first after winning the toss with Craig Daly reaching 105 as the team made 303 despite James Bostock taking 5 wickets.
In reply Egremont were bowled out for 61.
Furness 2nds won the toss and batted first with Jake Lamb making 97 as they went in to set visitors Workington 2nds 248.
It was an unsuccessful chase for Workington as they were bowled out for 87 as Dylan Ridgway took 6 wickets.
At the bottom Cockermouth 2nds won the toss and batted first at mid table Millom 2nd.
A Tom Norman 88 helped Cockermouth to 226 with Joshua Mackie taking 5 wickets.
In reply Millom 2nds were bowled out for 80.
The matches were split over two days in Division Two as Barrow moved into third.
Batting first after winning the toss Barrow’s Ross McMurdo 42 as they went on to make 142 as they were bowled out by visitors Ulverston 2nds.
Barrows bowlers all took wickets as they dismissed Ulverston for 77.
Table topping Vickerstown were put into bat by the home side Dalton 2nd with John Burns making 77 along with Jack Litherland and Ben Spencer falling short of their 50 as the team reached 252.
In reply Dalton 2nds were bowled out for 85.
Whitehaven 2nd won the toss at Lindal Moor and put the home side into bat with with Billy Hughes and Jordan Hughes making 62 and 63 as the home side made 180.
Jason Spires’ 50 helped Whitehaven to 184 and a 4 wicket victory.
Cleator won the toss and put visitors Haverigg 2nds into bat with Harrison Bradley making 73 and Jack Hoy 56 as they made 166 from their 40 overs.
Steven Wishart’s 90 not out helped lead Cleator to 167.
On Sunday Barrow and Dalton 2nd were back in action with Dalton batting first.
Making 121 before they were bowled out with Kyle Jefferson making 28 in reply Barrow made 122 with Luke Callow making 32.
