The Final Countdown Begins In The National Conference League

The National Conference League heads into the final rounds with all still up for grabs.

Thursday night rugby league in the Premier Division as Leigh Miners Rangers continued to climb with a 22-20 win over Thatto Heath Crusaders.

Then on Saturday League Leaders West Hull squeaked passed Siddal 12-13 as Hunslet Club Parkside kept pace with a 20-29 win over Pilkington Recs.

In the hunt for the playoff places Lock Lane moved closer to securing a place with a 16-30 win over Rochdale Mayfield.

At the bottom things look tight after third from bottom York Acorn moved to within a point of fourth placed Pilkington Recs after a 40-18 victory over second bottom Egremont Rangers.

The battle at the of Division One continued as table toppers Hull Dockers ran out 40-4 winners against Featherstone Lions as Kells won 17-4 at home to Wigan St Patricks.

Ince Rose Bridge and West Bowling moved up to third and fourth with 18-52 win over Myton Warriors and a 24-20 victory over Milford.

In mid-table Stanningley beat Oulton Raiders 46-12 while Skirlaugh picked up a 38-16 win at home to Saddleworth Rangers.

In Division Two the party started on Friday night as Dewsbury Moor Maroons picked up a 12-20 win at Hunslet Warriors.

Top of the table Heworth extended their lead with a 10-28 win at Woolston Rovers while Barrow Island got back to winning ways and second with a 48-16 win over Crosfields.

Normanton Knights closed in on third with a 39-12 win over Dewsbury Celtic as Clock Face Miners kept up with a 60-4 home win against Beverley.

At the bottom Bradford Dudley Hill were beaten 16-22 by Wigan St Judes.

In Division Three leaders East Leeds lost 54-10 to second place Waterhead Warriors while Oldham St Annes moved clear in third place with a 10-28 win over Seaton Rangers who stay fourth but now level on points with Shaw Cross Sharks after they beat Millom 10-18.

At the bottom Eastmoor Dragons lost 24-8 away at Leigh East with Hensingham picking up a 23-15 win over Batley Boys.

The Friday night action had Drighlington travelling to Bentley where the visitors came away with a 18-26 win.
