Barrow Raiders Ladies Make It Four In A Row Against Bradford Bulls In Women’s Super League

History making Barrow Raiders Ladies are sitting third in the Women’s Super League after a run of four games unbeaten.

On July 3, Barrow Raiders were on the road to the Bradford Bulls.

In a close game tries from Michelle Larkin, Vanessa Temple and Hannah Sherlock with Jodie Litherland adding the extra points gave Barrow a 14-18 victory.

There were two other games in Group 2 as Warrington Wolves ran out 72-0 winners against Leigh Miners Rangers as Wakefield Trinity picked up their first win 8-4 over Castleford Tigers.

In Group 1 Wigan Warriors lost 12-48 to Leeds Rhinos with St Helens picking up a 62-0 win over Huddersfield Giants.

In Group 2 of the Women’s Super League Barrow will face Bradford Bulls, Castleford Tigers, Featherstone Rovers, Wakefield Trinty and fellow new team Leigh Miners Rangers.

Like in the Mens Super League the season will end with a playoff involving the top four from each Group with the Group 2 Shield Final to be played as part of a double header with the Group 1 Grand Final.

The winners of the Shield Final will be promoted to Group 1 for 2023 with no team being relegated to Group 2.
