Title Goes Down To The Last Game In The Andrea Buggy Women’s League

Either Newlaithes or Whitehaven AFC can win the Andrea Buggy Women’s League.

After the last round of fixture on Wednesday June 29 Newlaithes Ladies hold a three point advantage.

Taking on Xtreme Fitness Ladies the league leaders came away with a 2-4 win with a Nicola Smith hat trick and Chelsea Norris free kick the difference as Emma Watson scored both goals for Xtreme.

It was all square as Vickerstown Ladies faced Stanwix Juniors Ladies with a point each after goalless draw.

The league decider will be played on Tuesday July 5 with Newlaithes needing a point off their match at home to Workington Diamonds.

While Whitehaven AFC Ladies travel to Vickerstown Ladies needing all three.

Both matches are 19:15 (7:15pm) kickoff.
