Cumbria Police Investigating Barrow Assault

Cumbria Police are investigating an assault at Longway, Barrow.

It took place at about 4pm on Sunday July 3.

It is believed three people, all male, were involved – one on a bicycle.  

The assault took place on the street and it is alleged one man kicked another man, aged in his twenties, to the head and body, causing serious but not life-threatening injury.

The injured man was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

A man, 22, has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in custody.
