For the second time in a week Barrow Raiders Ladies face Leigh Miners Rangers Ladies.
This time the Raiders head to Leigh on Sunday June 12 for a 2pm (14:00) kickoff.
It was a dominant performance by the Raiders when they faced Leigh on June 5 recording a 40-6 victory to make history with their first Women’s Super League win.
The game an emotional one as it was in memory of Barrow Raiders Ladies assistant coach Alex Broadhead with players and coach, Amanda Wilkinson, paying their respects before the game.
There are two other games in Group 2 Featherstone Rovers face Wakefield Trinity and Bradford Bulls host Castleford Tigers with Trinity and Tigers looking for their first points.
In Group 2 of the Women’s Super League Barrow will face Bradford Bulls, Castleford Tigers, Featherstone Rovers, Wakefield Trinty and fellow new team Leigh Miners Rangers.
There are no matches in Group 1 until Thursday June 23 when St Helens face Leeds Rhinos and then Sunday June 26 when Wigan Warriors take on York City Knights.
Like in the Mens Super League the season will end with a playoff involving the top four from each Group with the Group 2 Shield Final to be played as part of a double header with the Group 1 Grand Final.
The winners of the Shield Final will be promoted to Group 1 for 2023 with no team being relegated to Group 2.
