Whitehaven AFC Ladies Remain Top Of Andrea Buggy Women’s League As Cockermouth Highfield Ladies And Newlaithes Ladies Close In

It is all change in the Andrea Buggy Women’s League as Whitehaven AFC Ladies remain top.

On Wednesday May 25 table toppers Whitehaven AFC Ladies recorded a 10-0 over Kendal United Ladies, who travelled without a full squad.

A 0-2 win over Stanwix Ladies put Cockermouth Highfield Ladies back into second place with Georgia Wilson and Kirsty Bates with the goals.

It was a 8 goal thriller as Newlaithes Ladies won 5-3 against a determined Abbeytown Ladies.

The three goal scorers for Newlaithes were Chelsea Murry and Kerri Mallinson with two and Emma Sisson with Kate Brown bagging two and Shelia Paisley the third for Abbeytown.

Xtreme Fitness Ladies recorded a 2-0 win over an under strength Penrith AFC Ladies with Tiffany Lamb and Chloe Henderson on target for Xtreme.

Another high scoring thriller as Workington Diamonds won 4-3 against Vickerstown Ladies.

The Vickerstown goal scorers were Darby Harris with 2 and Royanne Davies.

Wednesday, June 1, actions has Vickerstown Ladies hosting Whitehaven AFC Ladies, Cockermouth Highfield Ladies face Xtreme Fitness Ladies, Kendal United Ladies play Newlaithes Ladies, Penrith AFC Ladies host Workington Diamonds and Abbeytown Ladies play Allerdale Wildcats.
