Cumbria Police Appealing For Information After Fatal Collision At Flimby

Police are appealing for witnesses or information following a collision at Flimby.

Officers were contacted at 12.08am Saturday May 15 with a report of a collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrians on the A596.

The two pedestrians, a man in his forties and a woman in her thirties, were pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The collision involved a Nissan Qashqai. 

A 30-year-old woman from West Cumbria was arrested on suspicion of two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and was later bailed.
