Cockermouth Highfield Ladies have taken over at the top of the Andrea Buggy Women’s League.
On Wednesday May 4 Cockermouth Highfield recorded a 4-0 win over Vickerstown,
In Xtreme Fitness’ 1-5 win at Abbeytown Annabel Watson, Jessica Reid, Claire Blackburn and two goals from Tiffany Lamb secured the points.
At Rickerby Park Sophie Bird, Helen Aitchison and Maisy Robinson were on target for Stanwix Ladies as they racked up a 7-2 win over Kendal United.
A four goals were shared as Ashleigh Mcallister for Whitehaven and Chelsea Norris for Newlaithes helped their teams to a 2-2 draw.
Workington Diamonds beat Allerdale Wildcats 3-2 with Hayley Saffill and Victoria Harrop on the score sheet for the Wildcats.
Coming up on Wednesday May 11 Allerdale Wildcats host Whitehaven AFC, Penrith AFC face table toppers Cockermouth Highfield, Vickerstown play Stanwix and Workington Diamonds face Abbeytown.
