The BBC are showing Barrow Raiders game against Women’s Challenge Cup holders St Helens.

Shown live on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport website the match kicks off at 2pm (14:00) with build up from 1:50pm (13:50).

The game is the start of St Helens’ defence after beating York City Knight in the 2021 final.

This is the 10th staging of the competition, and will follow a new format for the first time.

It marks the beginning of the domestic season that ends with England hosting the Women’s World Cup this autumn.

The groups are

• Group A: St Helens, Warrington Wolves, Barrow Raiders, British Army
• Group B: Leeds Rhinos, Huddersfield Giants, Leigh Miners Rangers, Hull FC
• Group C: York City Knights, Wigan Warriors, Bradford Bulls, Dewsbury Moor
• Group D: Castleford Tigers, Wakefield Trinity, Featherstone Rovers, Oulton Raidettes
