How You Can Help The Ukrainian People

While Governments around the world provide Ukraine with support and the sporting world hits back in its own way.

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is not only calling on Ukrainians to take up arms in defence of the country but also ‘Every friend of Ukraine who wants to join Ukraine in defending the country please come over, we will give you weapons.’

Short of going over to Ukraine and helping physically, which the Foreign Office is not recommending, there are other ways to support them.

The United Nations International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) set up in 1946 to help the postwar needs of children.

Not only are UNICEF providing food, water and medical supplies they are calling for a halt to hostilities.
