Cumbria Police Make Two Arrests Following Kendal Assault Investigation

Two arrests have been made following a Cumbria Police investigation into a South Lakeland assault.

Officers investigating an assault in which a man suffered facial injuries in Kirkland, Kendal, in the early hours of Sunday May 23, have arrested two men.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on Sunday and a 28-year-old man was arrested on Monday May 24 – both remained in police custody yesterday.

Officers have also established one of the men pictured was a witness to the incident.
