People might not be wanting to hear it just yet but the count down to Christmas is on and the gaming industry is gearing up for the battle to start.
Playstation and X Box have release the platforms and now the studios are releasing the games.
Ubisoft entered the fray over the weekend with several announcements at Ubisoft Forward.
First up from the event is an open beta test for PC players of Hyper Scape, the first person shooter is a fast paced battle-royale and even better it is free to play, think Fortnite and Apex Legends.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Hyper Scape takes place in the distant future of 2054, where up to 100 Contenders descend upon the virtual city of Neo-Arcadia to engage in action-packed and fast-paced matches to be crowned champion.
The Tom Clancy series is getting an update for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, July 15, and Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad is coming to mobile on August 27.
In Breakpoint players will be able to able to play with AI team mates and will be able to take part in a limited time event, even better the update is free to all players.
Elite Squad is a military mobile RPG based on the lore of Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, The Division and Rainbow Six.
For the first time, players will be able to assemble a team of legendary characters from the Tom Clancy’s universe to take on other players on the battlefield, arena and for the glory of the Guild.
The next installment of Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs: Legion will be released to instigate a revolution on October 29.
Set in a futuristic London where the city is a surveillance state, where a corrupt private military corporation controls the streets, and a powerful crime syndicate is preying on the most vulnerable.
You are tasked with building the resistance and fighting back.
One of the world leading open world franchises Assassin’s Creed has a release date.
The Viking edition of the award winning franchise, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will be ready for setting sail on November 17, playing as Eivor, players will have the choice to either be a male or female for the first time in the series.
As with previous incarnations the game play will take place in 873 Denmark and modern day as Laya Hassan returns, from Origins and Odyssey.
Finally here is one to look forward to in the new year as Far Cry gets a number 6.
Set to be released on February, 18 2021, it is currently in development and not much has been reveled apart from antagonist Anton Castillo.
So far 2020 gaming year is shaping up well as Resident Evil, Spider man, Gran Turismo and Horizon Forbidden West were announced earlier this year at the Playstation 5 launch event along with remakes of Sponge Bob Square Pants and Destroy All Humans coming soon.
