Sky’s New Horror Drama ‘Lovecraft Country’ Trailer Is Here And It Looks Terrifying

Sky has just dropped the trailer for its summer horror/drama Lovecraft Country and it looks absolutely terrifying and gripping, check it out here:

The one-hour drama series is based on the 2016 novel by Matt Ruff, follows Atticus Freeman as he joins his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father.

What follows is a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from an H.P. Lovecraft paperback.
The upcoming HBO horror drama features Jonathan Majors, Junree Somollet-Bell, Wunmi Mosaku, Michael Kenneth Williams  and Courtney B. Vance.
Created by executive producers Jordan Peele (Get Out) and J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker).

Also including showrunner Misha Green (Underground), director Daniel Sackheim (HBO’s Game of Thrones and True Detective), Ben Stephenson and Bill Carraro.
The 10 part series is produced by Bad Robot Productions and Monkeypaw Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Although it doesn’t have a specific release date yet, we do know it’s set to hit Sky viewers screens in summer this year.
